For Thanksgiving this year we did something a little different. Brian’s parents (Paula and Jimmy) and his brother (Michael) flew out west from Boston to visit for a week. We spent the whole week with them plus we visited with Noni and Papa both in the desert and had them all over for a Thanksgiving Continue reading
As usual, the LA County Fair always comes around at the hottest time of the year in southern California – the end of summer. This year, it was one of the coolest we’ve had in awhile – it was in the low 90s. This year we came prepared with hats, glasses and a buttload of Continue reading
Brian managed to score some circus tickets from work. While part of me knew the kids would love to go the other part of me really didn’t want to support an organization that cages animals, trains them, and then drags them around the world for people’s “entertainment”. I am ready! This year will be a year of first baseball games for my son and daughter. I am going to share my love of Dodgers baseball with them.
Today Brian and I open yet another chapter in our lives. Today we lay our previous website, brianandmaureenmclaughlin.com, to rest. I mean let’s face it that domain name is just too long! Brian and I have been so excited about having baby number two (lovingly nicknamed B2) but we cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by. We decided early on that we wanted to move Ethan to, what was, the spare room and put B2 in the existing nursery. I’m not sure what we were Continue reading
This picture was taken this morning as we were getting ready to go to to my doctor to check on B2. My boys are so adorable in their matching blue outfits. I can’t wait until B2 is here so we girls can match too!
We just found out we’re having a girl! We are so excited that we have a boy and now we are having a girl. I see a Hello Kitty themed nursery in my future. If only I could find a non-pink Hello Kitty theme. So the mission begins.
