Hawai’i 2015 – Day 7

Day 7. Our last day. All of our hearts are heavy. The kids are begging us not to make them leave Hawai’i even though they didn’t want to come in the first place. They fell in love. And, well, how could you not?

Of course, we spent our last few hours at the resort pool. We even paid for an additional few hours so the kids could make the most of it before our evening flight.

Alas, it’s time to say good-bye to King’s Land. We truly enjoyed our trip and all want to come back again soon. It’s a very, very nice family resort.

From the looks of things we picked the right time to leave. On the way to the airport the clouds and rain came rolling in.

Finally, we arrived and the airport to make our way back to Los Angeles.

After just under five hours we saw sweet LA in the distance. We are home. And, there is no place like home. As much as we love Hawai’i we were so glad to get home, have breakfast at Flappy Jack’s, right when they opened at 7 AM and then to head home to our beds.

Home. Sweet. Home.

Mahalo, Hawai’i! And, thank you all for virtually joining us on our journey.
