On this particular rainy Saturday Brian and I trekked out to Babies R Us to take advantage of two ‘20% off one item’ coupons we’d been dying to use. We thought it would be nice to get Ethan a push toy since he now knows how to crawl and has learned to stand up and sit down while holding on. On our round-trip through the store Ethan discovered the Elmo Live! Encore toy. I think his face in the picture above is self-explanatory – WOW! I have to admit, it’s a pretty impressive animatronic device. Brian and I, too, stood in awe as we touched Elmo’s nose and tummy and listened to him talk and move in a very life-like fashion. (Sorry, James, we know you hate Elmo.) Of course, modern technology comes at a price…a whopping $60. Alas, it’s for 18 months and up so Ethan will have to wait a few more months (and so will we).
